I’m sure, since you’ve read to this point, you’re curious about the purpose of this site, how this site came to be, and who’s behind it all. Well you’re in luck because I’m the gal who gets to tell you. So gather round and let’s begin…

A long time ago, 3 or 4 months to be approximately exact, a fellow singleton named Mark “got a feeling.” This feeling wasn’t that his night would be a good night; it was the feeling that he needed to start a website (yep, that rhymed). It was then that dev.ldssl.activemarketingplan.com/ was conceived and, through Mark’s blood, sweat, tears, and a few pains in his side, this site was born. Obviously there’s a lot more to that story but we’ll save that for another day. But it does spark an interesting question… Why, you may ask, would Mark be inspired to create such a website?

Well, my friends, that’s easy. It’s because being single can be extremely difficult, scary, stressful, lonely, and isolating; and that’s just skimming the surface of the ocean of emotions we’ve likely experienced at one time or another. In a world where adults are meant to be paired off and unified in tackling life together, we find ourselves alone, fulfilling roles that were meant for two. And that’s just plain hard for anyone finding themselves in circumstances like ours.

Now we all have our stories as to how we got to where we are today. We either missed the Love Boat and are left standing on the dock, we may have jumped into the water to escape a sinking ship, or we might have been pushed overboard trying to keep afloat while our dinghy floated away. There are other circumstances but I can’t seem relate them to my boat analogy.

So, fellow singletons, no matter how you ended up where you are today, our greatest wish is that you find this website to be an invaluable tool as you navigate through the one-rider-roller-coaster-journey called the single life. We want you to find your happy ending no matter what that may be. dev.ldssl.activemarketingplan.com/ has been a labor of love for all involved and we hope it comes to mean as much to you as it does to us.
